The business was established in 1981 and was run purely as a service, repair and bodywork garage. The current workshop was built in 2000 and replaced what was originally a hay barn. In 2006 we opened the MOT Centre. From the outset our business has grown purely through word of mouth and to date this remains our greatest source of new custom.
With the opening of the MOT Centre we now have a website which has supplemented our customer base with new customers booking MOTS from as far afield as Egypt. Sounds strange but true. We aim to keep people happy and coming back to use us again and as such we have numerous customers travelling from all over the south of England for an honest, reliable & affordable service often tying it in with visiting family or friends in the local area.
We offer on site DVSA (VOSA) certified class IV MOTs.
Through the MOT Centre we can also provide brake checks, emissions tests and pre MOT checks. We’re also very happy to provide customers the option of getting a prospective new car on the ramp and checking the underside to give a fuller picture of what you’re spending your money on.
Regular car servicing is a guaranteed way of maximising the lifespan and value of your car and also helps prevent unforeseen repair bills along the way. We understand the changing nature of modern cars and as such take training very seriously. All of our technicians undertake Bosch Technical Training and are trained to service any make and model of car using the latest techniques and diagnostic equipment.

Being an honest family run village garage we can also assure you that we won’t undertake any unnecessary work and will complete all the work as stated. This may seem obvious but we see new customers every week who’ve been charged for work that was either unnecessary or not carried out at all.
We carry out comprehensive garage services. Whether you are the type of customer that would prefer to replace parts with original manufacturer parts or quality parts through the likes of Bosch or Delphi we are happy to provide the level of service that you demand.
We are lucky enough to have an expert welder on site and have grown to where we are now through the ability and understanding of how to repair individual components rather than just replacing with new. Should you wish to provide your own parts either new or used then we are more than happy to fit them and work purely for our very reasonable hourly rate.

As opposed to buying from a strip of tarmac on the side of the road you are able to have an in depth discussion about the car you are interested in and have a thorough look through the vehicle. All cars sold are chosen carefully to maintain a happy customer base and see return business. All cars sold are thoroughly checked and are sold with a year’s MOT. We choose which cars to sell according to our day to day experience in what we find reliable and affordable to run.
We are slowly but surely growing the car sales side of the business. We have always offered good, solid reliable and affordable cars for sale but are now adding to this to include cars to meet a larger budget range. Our prices range from a few hundred pounds to several thousand pounds.
